New People in Town

This month has been very dynamic. We have new volunteers joining our organization and our activities are very entertaining. It is very exciting to meet such international people and get to know new cultures. In addition, it is a nice feeling to experience Christmas by feeling in another country.

It is a personal adventure

My name is Lau, and I am a Spanish volunteer who has come to Romania to discover a new land, new customs, and new ways of helping people. I am living an incredible experience, both personally and in this volunteering. Being able to meet such ambitious and supportive people makes me want to add even more value to this project.
Our work in this project consists of preparing educational activities and games, proposing workshops and generating content from our experience to raise awareness about our work.

I learn so many things

Last three weeks was fun and tiring. The new volunteers are arrived, and each person has their own unique quality. The students in the schools learning so many things from them. I also learn so many things from the new volunteers. We started to go to more schools with more volunteers. We have met so many amazing students and teachers. My experience as a volunteer become even better.

I got to meet a lot of people

This project has been, for the most part, a delightful experience. It had its ups and downs but overall the "pros" far outweigh the "cons". I got to meet a lot of people, some from different countries from around the world and I also got to learn some things related to their everyday lives and traditions.

Time flies during volunteering

Times flies by so fast, I'm in Romania for 3 weeks now. We had time to be acclimated with Baia Mare, go to city schools and also into villages. I really enjoyed all these moments and I'm exciting to continue volunteering in January.

My first volunteering project

As this is my first volunteering project and it made me to know about different cultures as the volunteers came from different countries. On project every day is a super surprise for me to see kids and students in schools sometimes in Baia mare and sometimes in villages close to the city. The children and students were so excited to see us foreign students and they were so curious in knowing about our culture, about us and how we came here to be in front of them. And about Baia Mare it's going to be a remember able city in my travel, people, city, ambience every is good.
