I arrived in Baia Mare on December 2, 2021. It was my first time traveling abroad. The city of Baia Mare is smaller than the city I live in Turkey. One of the most interesting aspects of the city is that the ratio of the elderly population is high and the ratio of young people is low. The city of Baia Mare is very quiet and the quality of life is slow. The most difficult situation in the city and during the activities we perform is the language problem. Because my English level is at the beginner level and I shared this situation with our coordinators.
Since our coordinators are aware of my situation, one of Gökay and Erdem are coming with me at the events. Erdem and Gökay help me at the points where I get stuck. I have no complaints from Erdem and Gökay. Because they are always supporting and helping me during activities, as well as our private meetings outside of work. I am happy with this situation. At the end of the project, I will always have strong communication with Gökay and Erdem. The attitudes of children, youth and teachers towards me are very positive in the schools and villages we have attended in the events we have held. I did not encounter any problems. During my stay here, I study English every day at home after the events. I have improved my language a little from the time I first came to the present and I will improve my English even more after the end of the project. English will always be with me in all areas of my life.
